With many years of playing together in various guises under thier belt, Yes Now IS is the brainchild of Amaris Ziayanah and her brother in art and spirit Jason W Mckinzie aka mascodagama.
They are an acoustic band of unique and spellbinding sound - one that allows for the inner ear, the inner mind to travel through the beautiful landscape of aural delight.
Through a cascading and dynamic blend of lush free flowing harmonies Yes Now IS is a proposed journey into extreme positivity.
Amaris Ziayanah has long been involved with the writing and performing of soulful, heartfelt music of many varied styles, and her singular voice has been described as heavenly. As an accomplished bellydancer, Amaris is recognized by many as “the One who Dances with her Eyes.” The love and fluidity that she expresses through dance is an intriguing and captivating experience.
Jason W. McKinzie (aka mascodagama) follows in the tradition of tunesmiths throughout time immemorial, dipping his musical cup gratefully into the river of those who have come before him. Not a stranger to the universal music of Now, Jason finds his inspiration in love, unity, compassion and peace. Genres are no obstacle for this composer. Walls are meant for climbing, and the illusory walls of art are no exception.
Yes Now IS are available for functions both public and private; anything from a Renaissance Fair to a Fundraiser to your wedding.
